Kailua is sometimes called the "Quiet Side"; you will feel a world away from bustling Waikiki, yet close enough to enjoy what it and the rest of what Honolulu has to offer. Kailua's spectacular white sand beaches, friendly relaxed town, and breathtaking views of the Ko'olau Mountains will ensure your vacation is everything you dreamed it would be. 
Kailua, Oahu is northeast of Honolulu just on the windward side of the Ko'olau Mountains. In order to fully embrace our island, we recommend you pick up a rental car at the airport. You will be able to make the short drive to Kailua with ease and then will be able to explore Kailua and all of what Oahu, Hawaii has to offer. To reach Kailua and the Blue Kailua vacation rental homes, follow signs from Honolulu International Airport to H3. Take the Mokapu Saddle Road exit and turn right off the ramp. You will turn right onto Oneawa Street and take you first left (you will cross over the canal.) You are now within blocks of our properties. Guests will receive detailed driving directions prior to arrival.
